Biography :

Dr. Kai Zhao is currently an associate professor at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research areas include Decision Intelligence、General-Purpose Robots and Embodied Intelligence. His main work is dedicated to combining high-performance artificial intelligence with robot control systems to develop highly autonomous and highly intelligent robotic agents. He has participated in many national and provincial projects aimed at academic resarch purposes and technical development purposes. He has published 9 academic papers in journals or conferences, of which one conference paper as the first author won the Best Paper Award of the 14th International Conference on Communication Technology, ICCT2012. He has obtained 4 authorized national invention patents. As one of the important participants，he has finished many projects funded by the enterprises and the outcomes of the above projects have been applied by the entrusting enterprises.
