Efficient computation in deep learning
Peisong Wang is an associate professor of Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received the B.S. degree from Shandong University in 2013. After that, he got the Ph.D degree from the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition (NLPR), Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2018. His current interests include large-scale multi-model pretraining, efficient neural network computing, distributed optimization, etc. He has published more than 40 papers on IEEE T-PAMI, T-NNLS, NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ICCV, AAAI etc. He has been awarded the Nvidia Scholarship, the first prize of MicroNet Challenge in NeurIPS 2019, the IEEE International Standard Outstanding Contribution Award, and has been elected as the Youth Talent Promotion Project of the Beljing Association for Science and Technology, the 2021 StarTrack Program of Microsoft Research Asia, and a scholar of the CCF Baidu Songguo Foundation.
